Gallery 839 presents:

As far back as 4,000 years ago in ancient Mesopotamia people looked up at the sky and closely noted the changing light and movements of the planets and correlated their observations with events on earth. Narratives and archetypes emerged through these observed correlations and thus, the practice of astrology was born. Venus in the 12th is an art exhibit, poem and book by Los Angeles based painter Teri Hendrich C. that utilizes the ancient language of astrology and the artist's own planetary natal placements to tell a transformative story of her evening star within the house of the unknown.
