With what appears to be Twitter's inevitable demise, I was inspired to create a centralized space where I can share my thoughts from everything to art making, working in animation, union activism, motherhood, astrology and divination. Thus the name "Prismatic Musings" - because all these different interests help to define me. Just like how white light becomes ever more beautiful and fascinating when viewed through a prism which allows for its rainbow of colors to become visible to the naked eye. Therefore my aim is to share these different sides of me here in an open journal format, so that my audience might gain a deeper appreciation and understanding for me and my art.

I used to run blogs for my pencil drawings, my side hustle as a DJ, and more recently my family's genealogy. So I anticipate that it won't take too long for me to get into the swing of writing and posting here. My ambition is to update this blog at least twice a month with new thoughts, insights and personal news. 

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure how popular blogs are these days, but I figured I'd give it a shot and find out!
